Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission has recruited a total of 283 posts of Map Navis and Cartographers (Draftman and Cartographer) under the Irrigation and Water Resources and Agriculture Department. The Commission has issued the notification of this recruitment. In irrigation and water resources, 172 posts of general selection, 78 posts of special selection and 33 posts of general selection are under the control of Agriculture Department. The process of online application and fee submission will start from December 18. The last date has been fixed as January 8, 2024. Fee adjustments and amendments in the application can be made till January 15.
Shortlisting of candidates in this recruitment will be done on the basis of their UP PET 2022 score. Only those candidates who had appeared in UP PET 2022 will be able to appear in it. Persons with zero or less in Normalized Score will not be shortlisted for the Main Examination.
The application fee has been fixed at Rs 25 for all categories.
Ability
Draftsman – Certificate of Draftsman. OR Three years Diploma in Vastu Assistant or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
Cartographer – Certificate in Cartography. OR Three years Diploma in Architect or Three years Diploma in Civil Engineering.
Maximum age limit for both the posts – 40 years

Application for appointment of two members from today
Online applications will be taken from Friday for appointment to two posts of members in Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission. According to Dr. Devesh Chaturvedi, Additional Chief Secretary, Appointment and Personnel Department, the format and detailed details of the online application can be found on the website www. niyuktionline.upsdc.gov.in, www. Available at up.pariksha.nic.in.
Interested applicants can apply on the website till January 14. Along with this, the advertisement issued earlier on May 29 for one post of member has been cancelled. Those who had applied earlier must apply again with updated details for the current advertisement.
It is noteworthy that out of eight posts of members in the Commission, seven are currently working. The tenure of one member, Dr. Sabita Aggarwal, is completing in February. Therefore two posts will become vacant.
