UPPBPB UP Police Bharti 2023: UP Police released the much awaited advertisement for recruitment to 60244 posts of constable on Saturday, 23 December 2023. Along with this, it was announced to start the online application process with two new rules. According to the recruitment advertisement released on the official website of Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board Lucknow, interested candidates will be able to apply online from 27 December 2023 to 16 January 2024. After selection on the post of UP Police Constable, the pay scale of the candidates who get the appointment letter will be Rs 5200- 20000 and grade pay will be Rs 2000. According to UP Police, both male and female candidates will be eligible to apply for this recruitment. Two new rules for UP Police constable recruitment-
Rule-1: UPPBPB had earlier some time invited tender from the concerned agency to start the OTR registration process. That is, to apply for this recruitment for the first time, candidates will have to fill the One Time Registration (OTR) form. After filling OTR, candidates will be freed from registering again and again every year.
Rule-2: Two days before the release of UP Police Constable Vacancy 2023, UPPBPB had issued an official notice warning the candidates that the normalization formula will be used in those examinations for recruitments whose examinations will be held in two or more shifts or on multiple dates. UP Police Syllabus 2023 :
The notification of UP Police Constable Recruitment 2023 is given in Appendix-1 at page number 18 and 19. In short, the written examination of UP Police Constable Recruitment will be of 300 marks and all the questions will be multiple choice. The total number of questions is 150 and the time allotted for this is two hours i.e. 120 minutes. Each question will be of two marks. Minus marking will also be applicable for wrong answers. Half (0.5 marks) marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. This exam will be conducted on OMR sheet. The paper of UP Police Constable Recruitment Exam 2024 will be in 4 parts.
1-General knowledge,
2- General Hindi,
3-Numerical and mental ability and
4- Mental aptitude, IQ, logical ability.

Physical Test of UP Police Constable Recruitment:
Constable male candidates will have to complete the 4.8 km run in 25 minutes.
Female candidates will have to complete the 2.4 km race in 14 minutes.
