UPPBPB UP Police SI, ASI Recruitment: Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board has issued online notification for direct recruitment to 921 posts of Police Sub Inspector (Confidential), Police Assistant Sub Inspector (Clerk) and Police Assistant Sub Inspector (Accounts) from January 7. Applications are invited. The Board released the complete schedule of the recruitment process for these Group 'C' posts on Friday. According to the board, online application for SI, ASI posts will start from January 7, 2024. The online application process for UP Police SI, ASI can be done by visiting the official website of UP Police Recruitment Board https://uppbpb.gov.in/. The last date for online application and fee submission for this recruitment is 28 January 2024. The last date for fee adjustment and amendment in application will be 30 January 2024. Out of total 921 vacant posts, 268 posts are of Police Sub Inspector (Confidential), 449 posts are of Police Assistant Sub Inspector (Clerk) and 204 posts are of Police Assistant Sub Inspector (Accounts). Male and female candidates will be eligible for recruitment to these three posts. The number of vacancies can be changed at any time before the examination. The application fee for this recruitment process has been fixed at Rs 400.
Online Written Examination of 400 Marks:
An online written examination of 400 marks will be conducted for recruitment. There will be 100 marks on general Hindi and computer knowledge, 100 marks on general knowledge and current affairs, 100 marks on numerical and quantitative ability test and 100 marks on mental aptitude test, IQ test and logical test. After scrutiny of records of the candidates who are successful in the written examination, there will be physical standard test and computer typing and shorthand test. Five percent horizontal reservation will be given to ex-servicemen, two percent to dependents of freedom fighters and 20 percent horizontal reservation to women.

Police Sub Inspector Group 'C' – Rs 9300 – 34800. With Grade Pay 4200 up to Rs 112400.
Assistant Sub Inspector of Police (Clerical/Accounts) Group 'C' – Rs. 5200 – 20200. Grade Pay Rs 2800 up to Rs 93300.
