Under Uttar Pradesh Child Development Project, there will be recruitment on 531 vacant posts of Anganwadi workers in Lucknow. This time interested female candidates will have to apply online. Its advertisement will also be released in a day or two. Candidates will be able to apply on the department's website https//upanganwabidharti.in for 21 days from the date of advertisement. There are 531 vacant posts of workers in 2730 Anganwadi centers in Lucknow. District Program Officer Rajesh Kumar said that the minimum educational qualification for these posts is Inter (12th) pass.
Maximum qualification can be MA. Only women between 18 to 35 years of age can apply for this post. He said that only women residing in the Gram Panchayat (rural area) and Ward (urban area) in which the post is vacant will be eligible to apply. Selection will be based on merit. For this, a five-member district selection committee has been formed. Before this recruitment, 57 posts of workers had been filled by promotion of assistants.

they will get preference
First preference for the post of worker will be given to BPL widow, BPL divorcee and BPL deserter. After this, preference will be given to BPL category women. If candidates are not found in these categories, other women will get a chance. All marksheets and certificates of educational qualification, income, caste and residence certificate issued from Tehsil will also have to be attached with the application.
