Secondary School Recruitment: Problem in appointment of dependents of deceased, rules will change

There is a problem regarding the appointment of assistant teacher of arts subject under the deceased dependent quota in aided secondary schools. According to the Intermediate Education Act 1921, it is mandatory to pass the intermediate examination of UP Board with technical arts. In such a situation, if any dependent has passed 12th from CBSE or other board and the intermediate single subject is Drawing Technical, then there is a hindrance in his adjustment.

On this, State President of Secondary Teachers Association, former MLC Suresh Kumar Tripathi had written a letter to Director of Secondary Education Dr. Mahendra Dev on March 6 requesting him to clarify the situation. The Director of Secondary Education has sought a proposal to amend the rules from UP Board Secretary Dibyakant Shukla.

Delay in appointment in Basic: The appointment process of the deceased dependents of teachers and employees working in the schools of Basic Education Council has been done online, but due to the negligence of the officers, there is a delay in the disposal of the cases.
