The last date of application for SBI Clerk Recruitment has been extended. Now applications for this can be made till 10th December. Earlier the last date of application was 7 December. Interested and eligible candidates can apply by visiting sbi.co.in. Out of total 8283 vacancies, 3515 posts are unreserved. 1284 are reserved for SC, 748 ST, 1919 OBC and 817 for EWS category. According to the notification, candidates can apply for only one state. Before applying, make sure that you have good knowledge of the local language (reading, writing, speaking and understanding) of the state you are applying for.

Salary – Rs 17,900 – Rs 47,920. Basic pay Rs 19,900.
Selection Process – First of all there will be online preliminary examination. Candidates passing this will be called for online main examination. Candidates who qualify the main examination will have to undergo the local language test.
preliminary exam pattern
This exam will be of 1 hour in which there will be a total of 100 objective questions related to English language, numerical ability and reasoning ability. 100 marks will be prescribed for the preliminary examination. There will be 30 marks for English section and 35 marks each for Numerical and Reasoning. For the entire exam, the candidate will have to solve the questions of one hour and one section in about 20 minutes.
One-fourth mark will be deducted for each wrong answer in the preliminary examination.
