Educational qualification
Candidates who want to apply for the posts of Food Inspector must have a degree from a university recognized by the Government of Maharashtra. Whereas candidates who have done degree in Food Technology or Food Science will be given first priority. Apart from this, candidates should also know Marathi language.

General category candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 250, while SC and ST applicants will have to pay an application fee of Rs 150. However, PWD category candidates have been given exemption in application fees.
Age Range
The minimum age limit of the candidates to apply is 18 years while the maximum age limit should be 43 years.
