Educational qualification

To apply for the post of Junior Clerk, the candidate must have passed class 12th with 50% marks and graduation degree in any subject from any recognized institute. Along with this, to be eligible for the post, the minimum age of the applicants should be between 18 years to 45 years.

The application fee for General/OBC category candidates of Himachal Pradesh is Rs 1000, while the fee for EWS/SC/ST/IRDP/BPL category and women candidates of Himachal Pradesh is Rs 800.

Candidates selected for the post of Junior Clerk will be given a basic salary of Rs 19,900. Besides, they will be given a total salary of Rs 26,600 along with house rent allowance and dearness allowance.

Candidates will be selected through examination. The selection process will consist of two stages. The first phase will be of online prelims examination, which will be conducted for 100 marks. In which 60 minutes will be given to answer 100 questions and this phase will include subjects including Reasoning, Numerical Ability, English and General Awareness.
