Ranchi University Assistant Professor vacancy: In the light of the letter from the Department of Higher and Technical Education on behalf of Ranchi University Administration, applications have been invited for recruitment to the post of Need Based Assistant Professor till the regular recruitment of Assistant Professor. Applications are invited online through the Chancellor portal https://jharkhanduniversities.nic.in/home/recruitment. Detailed information in this regard can be obtained from the official website of Ranchi University www.ranchiuniversity.ac.in. After six years, the process to fill the vacant posts of Assistant Professor is being conducted. There are vacancies for 321 Assistant Professor posts for 31 subjects. Candidates can submit applications from 11 am on March 13 to 5 pm on March 23. The date of interview will be released later through the Chancellor Portal.
Keep in mind that this recruitment will be on contract basis. The maximum age limit is 65 years. Applications sent through email or post will be invalid.

Candidates will have to submit the hard copy of the online application at the University Headquarters by 5 pm on April 3. General, OBC and EWS category candidates will have to pay Rs 1000 and SC-ST will have to pay Rs 500. The DD has been sought in the name of Registrar, Ranchi University Ranchi. The selected candidate will be given a maximum of Rs 57,500 every month.
