Indian Army Job 2024: Indian Army has invited applications for 140th Technical Grade Courses (TGC-140). Engineering graduate candidates interested in permanent commission in Indian Army can apply through the official website www.join Indianarmy.nic.in. This recruitment drive is only for male candidates. The last date to complete online application is 9th May 2024. Before applying, candidates are advised to know the complete information and then proceed further.

First of all, let us tell you, the course for Permanent Commission in the Indian Army will start in January 2025 at the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Dehradun. Under this course, seven seats each are provided to Civil, Mechanical and Computer Science Engineers. After this there are Electronic Engineer-four seats and Electrical Engineer-three seats. Selected candidates will be given a salary ranging from Rs 56,100 to Rs 1,77,500 for the post of Lieutenant. The last date for application is 9th May.

Educational qualification

Candidates who have engineering degree or who are in the final year of engineering degree can apply. Candidates studying in the final year of engineering degree will be required to produce a certificate of passing their engineering examination within 12 weeks from the date of commencement of training at the Indian Military Academy (IMA). With this, let us tell you that all those final year candidates whose final semester examination will be conducted after January 1, 2025, are not eligible to apply for this post.

How will the selection be done?

Candidates will be selected through SSB Interview. Only shortlisted eligible candidates will be given a chance to attend the interview. There is no information regarding the date of SSB interview. All details related to SSB interview will be shared at the right time. Let us tell you, the training in IMA will be for 12 months. After completion of training, training cadets will be provided permanent commission in the Indian Army.

Step 2-Now complete the registration process on the home page with your basic information like your Aadhar card, phone number and other details.

Step 3- Now access the application form with your registered ID and password and then start filling it.

Step 4-Complete the application form by submitting your educational qualification and other details in the application form.

Step 5- Now upload the required documents in the correct size.

Step 6- After this pay the application fee. Now before submitting the application form, read all the information given in it once, if there is any mistake.

Step 7- Now you can submit the application form and if you want, you can take a printout for future use.
