Today is March 21, the last date for applications for recruitment to 6000 posts of Constable GD in Haryana Police. If any interested candidate has still not applied then he can apply by visiting the official website of Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC). Applications for this recruitment started from 20th February. 12th pass boys and girls can apply for this. All CET pass candidates can fill the Haryana Police form.

Among the vacancies, 5000 posts are reserved for male candidates and 1000 posts are reserved for female candidates.
Reservation in 5000 Posts of Men – Non-ESM ESP: GEN=1800, SC=900, BCA=700, BCB=400, EWS=500, ESM-GEN=350, ESM-SC=100, ESM-BCA=100, ESM-BCB=150

Qualification – 12th pass. Must have studied any one subject of Hindi or Sanskrit in 10th.

Age Limit – Candidates age should not be less than 18 years and more than 25 years as on 1st February 2024. The government has given age relaxation of 3 years due to delay in recruitment and Corona.

Candidates belonging to reserved categories who are natives of Haryana will be given relaxation in upper age limit as per the rules of the State Government. That is, after getting age relaxation, now unreserved category candidates up to 28 years can apply. Whereas for EWS, / SC, / ST the age limit will be 18 years to 33 years. The maximum age limit for OBC category will be 31 years.

Selection Process – Candidates will be shortlisted for physical test on the basis of CET. Then the candidates will be called for Common Eligibility Test (Knowledge Test). Knowledge test will be given 94.5 percent weightage. Those who have NCC certificate will get 3 marks extra. Weightage of 2.5 marks is prescribed for socio-economic criteria.

In the physical test, men will have to run 2.5 km in 12 minutes and women will have to run 1 km in 6 minutes.
