BPSSC Bihar Police SI Recruitment 2023: Advertisement for recruitment to 1275 posts of Inspector (Police Sub Inspector) in Bihar Police is likely to be issued soon. This matter was stuck in roster clearance for the last five months. But after removing the technical hurdles, the roster is expected to be cleared this month. Along with this, by publishing the advertisement (BPSSC SI Notification 2023) in the month of October, the possibility of taking the examination in November-December is being expressed. Bihar Police ADG Headquarters JS Gangwar said that the process in this regard is going on.
According to police sources, provision of reservation for disabled people was made in the roster prepared earlier for the reinstatement of Inspector (BPSSC Bihar Police SI Vacancy 2023). But, due to lack of provision for the same in the police recruitment process, consideration is being given to revising the roster and creating a separate post of Steno SI for the disabled. After roster clearance, it will be sent to Bihar Police Under Service Commission, from where the advertisement will be issued. The process of advertisement for the reinstatement of 1275 sub-inspectors was to be started immediately after 21391 constables. At present the application process for reinstatement of 21391 constables has ended. The date of written examination has also been decided.
What can be the qualification for SI posts?
Graduation can be asked for Bihar Police SI Recruitment and 12th pass qualification can be asked for Constable. The maximum age limit for general category is 37 years for SI and 25 years for constable. There will be relaxation in age limit as per reservation rules. Eligible candidates will be selected after being found eligible in written examination and physical standard and efficiency test.
Charge 1168 inspector became inspector
The process of giving charge of senior (higher) posts to the police personnel of the state is continuing. Bihar Police has once again given the charge of the post of Inspector to 1168 qualified sub-inspectors. Till now, a total of 7132 personnel of Bihar Police have been given higher charge on different dates. Soon 3280 more police personnel will be given higher charges.
In a press conference held at the police headquarters on Friday, ADG Headquarters JS Gangwar said that on September 6, 2685 constables were given the responsibility of Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI). On September 8, 3279 qualified Assistant Sub Inspector was given the charge of Sub Inspector (Inspector). Now 1168 Inspector has been given the responsibility of Inspector. Soon 200 inspectors will be given the responsibility of DSP. Bihar Police has sent its proposal to the Home Department. The ADG said that some more police personnel are to be given higher charges and the process is underway. The matter of giving the responsibility of ASI to 400 constables is pending. Similarly, 2400 Assistant Sub Inspectors and 200 Sub Inspectors are to be given charge of higher posts. The documents of these personnel are being verified.
