BPSC: BEd people will get relief, new recruitment of 70 thousand teachers will be done, eligibility for the post of headmaster reduced

Bihar government has given a big gift to the teacher candidates. Under the second phase, a decision has been taken to appoint 70692 teachers in the state soon. On Tuesday, the state cabinet chaired by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar approved these proposals. The teachers who are going to be reinstated include 69692 posts of teachers from classes 6 to 12 under the Education Department and 1000 posts of teachers in the Backward and Most Backward Classes Welfare Department. Their appointment will be through Bihar Public Service Commission. There are no posts from class 1 to 5 in this recruitment, so this will be a good opportunity for B.Ed.

Under the Bihar State School Teacher (Appointment, Transfer, Disciplinary Action and Service Conditions) Rules 2023, under Panchayati Raj and Municipal Body Institution, there are already 18830 created and vacant posts of Higher Secondary Teacher, 18880 created and vacant post of Secondary Teacher and 6 While 31982 created and vacant posts for class 8 have been transferred, 18830 posts of teachers for classes 11 to 12 have been approved. Similarly, 18880 posts have been approved for classes 9 to 10 and 31982 posts have been approved for classes 6 to 8.

Experience qualification reduced for headmaster recruitment

Now 8 years of experience will also be considered for appointment to the post of headmaster in government schools. First 10 years of experience was required. Bihar State Higher Secondary School Principals (Appointment, Transfer, Disciplinary Action and Service Conditions) (Amendment) Rules, 2023 were approved by the Cabinet. The Education Department and BPSC will jointly decide the format and syllabus of the examination for the upcoming examinations.
