257 new cases of corona virus surfaced in Himachal Pradesh

Shimla, Oct 29 (PTI) The total number of infected people has increased to 2,23,876 after 257 new cases of corona virus infection were reported in Himachal Pradesh on Friday. With the death of three patients in the state, the death toll reached 3,732.

A health department official said that in the last 24 hours, two patients lost their lives in Hamirpur and one in Shimla.

The official said that maximum 114 cases were reported from Kangra.

He said that after 232 more people became infection free in the state, the total number of cured people increased to 2,18,150. At present, 1,978 patients are under treatment in Himachal Pradesh.
