Aditya Chopra’s film ‘Bunty Aur Babli 2’ has made a business of just Rs 8.25 crore in its first three days. The film’s business is as expected in North India, especially in Delhi-NCR, while audiences in the rest of the country have given a decent response to the film.
Earned only 3.25 crores on Sunday
‘Bunty Aur Babli 2’ earned Rs 2.5 crore on its opening day on Friday. The film earned the same amount on Saturday as well. While the film’s earnings increased by 30 percent on Sunday. The film did a business of Rs 3.25 crore on Sunday. In this way, ‘Bunty Aur Babli 2’ did a total business of Rs 8.25 crore for three days.
‘Sooryavanshi’ earned 12 crores in the third weekend
On the other hand, the roar of ‘Sooryavanshi’ continues at the ticket window. The film has also earned Rs 12 crore in its third weekend. On Sunday, the film earned Rs 5-5.25 crore. It is clear from this that the audience reaching the theaters is giving preference to ‘Sooryavanshi’ over ‘Bunty Aur Babli 2’.
Will ‘Sooryavanshi’ earn 200 crores?
Gujarat has a strong contribution in the earnings of ‘Suryavanshi’. Even on working days, 20 percent of the film’s total earnings are coming from Gujarat. Rohit Shetty’s film has earned around Rs 178 crore till the third weekend. In such a situation, it is expected that the film will cross the 200 crore mark in its fourth week. However, this week two big films are releasing at the box office. John Abraham’s ‘Satyamev Jayate 2’ is releasing on 25 November and Salman Khan-Ayush Sharma’s Antrim: The Final Truth on 26 November.
‘Sooryavanshi’ made Rs 177.96 crore
‘Sooryavanshi’ did a business of Rs 120.36 crore in its first week. The film earned Rs 45.60 crore in the second week. Whereas in the third weekend on Friday, the film earned Rs 3.25 crore. It has done business of Rs 3.75 crore on Saturday and Rs 5 crore on Sunday. In this way the total earning of the film has now gone up to Rs 177.96 crore.
