Message from Puneet Rajkumar’s wife: Ashwini Revanth wrote- ‘I cry when I see Puneet’s fans are donating eyes like him

Weeks after Puneet Rajkumar’s death due to cardiac arrest, his wife Ashwini Revanth has penned an emotional note on social media. In which he has thanked the fans of Puneet. Ashwini wrote in this message posted on Instagram- “I can’t hold back my tears when I see thousands of people registering for eye donation following the path shown by their dear Appu.”

Fans bid an honorable farewell to Puneet
Ashwini wrote at the beginning of this note – “The untimely death of Puneet Rajkumar is shocking not only to the family but to the entire state of Karnataka. It is hard to imagine how much pain this loss must have caused. All you fans have done the same. Made him a ‘Power Star’. Despite the pain you have gone through, you haven’t lost your cool or allowed any untoward incident to happen. It gave an honorable farewell to Puneet Rajkumar.”

Puneet will be alive among the fans
She further writes, “With a heavy heart I acknowledge the condolences of millions of people of all ages in India and abroad. When I see thousands of people following the path of their beloved Appu, register for eye donation. I cry. He will live on as a role model in all these good things you do. Heartfelt thanks to all the fans and everyone, for your love and support on behalf of our entire family.”

Puneet passed away on 29 October. He was 46 years old. Over 10 lakh people queued up to pay their last respects to the actor in Bengaluru.
