Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPBPB) has released the official notification for 60244 posts of constable. There are still a few days left for the application process to start. 1- Date of application
Candidates applying for the posts of constable, first of all, let us tell you that the registration process is going to start from December 27 and the last date for filling the form has been fixed as January 16, 2024. Along with this, the last date for submission of application fees is till January 18, 2024. The applications of the candidates who will not pay the application fees will be cancelled.

Unreserved category: 24102 posts
EWS Category: 6024 Posts
OBC Category: 16264 Posts
SC Category – 12650 Posts
ST Category: 1204 Posts
The lowest number of constable posts have been reserved for ST category.
3- Female and male candidates can apply
According to the official notification, both male and female candidates can apply for the post of UP Police Constable. However, no information has been given yet about how many posts are reserved for female candidates.
4- Number of posts may change or recruitment may be cancelled.
It was told in the notification that the number of vacancies can be changed at any time before the recruitment examination for constable. After which the number of posts may increase or decrease. Along with this, it is further written in the notification that recruitment can be canceled at any time or at any stage of recruitment without giving any reason.
5- Candidates with more than one wife cannot apply.
It is written in the notification that those candidates who have more than one wife cannot apply for UP Police Constable Recruitment. Along with this, such women candidates whose husband's ex-wife is alive also cannot apply.
