UP METRO JOBS Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation (UPMRC) has invited applications for recruitment to various posts. At present, applications have been invited for recruitment to executive and non-executive posts in UP Metro. A total of 439 posts will be filled under this recruitment drive. Currently the application process is going on and the last date to apply is 19th April. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through the official website.

Recruitment will be done on these posts- There is recruitment for many posts including Station Controller-cum-Train Operator, Junior Engineer, Maintainer.

Selection Process- First there will be a written examination and then there will be document verification. The selection process also includes medical examination.

Exam Date: The examination will be conducted on 11, 12 and 14 May.

admit card – Admit cards for the exam will be released on April 30.

Ability- For executive posts, applicants must have BE, B.Tech or equivalent degree with minimum 60 percent marks from a recognized university. Applicants for non-executive post should have three years diploma degree from a recognized institute with at least 60 percent marks.

Age Range- Applicants age should be between 21 to 28 years.

Application fee- Applicants from unreserved (UR), economically weaker sections (EWS), and other backward classes (OBC) categories will have to pay an application fee of Rs 1,180. Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 826.

Exam pattern- The examination will be conducted in online mode. The exam will last for 2 hours. The exam paper will consist of 100 multiple choice questions in five sections: English Language, General Knowledge, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability and discipline-specific questions. The question paper will be available in both English and Hindi. One third marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
