UP Board Exam 2024: The Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Council (UPMSP) is going to conduct the class 10th and class 12th board exams from February 22. This examination will be conducted till 9 March 2024. Let us tell you, UPSMP will conduct the board exam in two shifts. The board will start the class 10th board exams in Shift 1 with Hindi and Primary Hindi subjects and in Shift 2 with Commerce subject. For class 12th, the examination will be conducted for Military Science in Shift 1 and Hindi and General Hindi subject in Shift 2. This is going to be the first time in the UP Board exams, when permission has been given to extend the exam time. This year, for the convenience of the students, the timing of the first shift examination has been changed from 8.30 am to 11.45 am instead of 8 am to 11.15 am. Whereas in the second shift the examination will be conducted from 2 pm to 5.15 pm.

There will be serial number on every page of copies

While issuing the guidelines, UP Board said, during class 10th-12th examination, students will have to write their roll number on each page of the copy. Along with this, it will also be mandatory to enter the serial number of the copy on each page of the copy. The officers associated with the examination have completed most of the preparations related to the examination. Emphasis is being laid on completing the preparations that remain. UP Board has completed preparations to conduct the examination peacefully and without cheating. Along with this, arrangements have been made to conduct the examination in a transparent manner. UP Board has given instructions for the candidates to write the roll number on each page during the examination. Along with this, it has been said that the serial number of the copy should be recorded on each page of the copy. This is being done so that no irregularities occur.

A total of 8265 examination centers have been created in the state for the board examinations of the year 2024 to be held from 22 February to 9 March, out of which 275 examination centers have been marked as highly sensitive and 466 examination centers have been marked as sensitive. CCTV cameras, voice recorders and routers have been installed in every room of every examination centre, through which live monitoring of the entire examination period will be done through webcasting.

– A total of 55,25,308 candidates are appearing in the UP Board examination in class 10th (2947311 students) and class 12th (2577997). Where the number of boys in class 10th is 15,71184 and the number of girl students is 13,76127. Whereas in class 12th, the number of boys is 14,28323 and the number of girl students is 11,49674. To ensure that the examination can be conducted without any hassle, 8265 center administrators, 8265 external center administrators, 8265 static magistrates, 1273 sector magistrates and 424 zonal magistrates have been appointed. Besides, 405 mobile parties have been formed. Let us tell you, 566 government schools, 3479 financed and 4220 non-financed schools have been selected as examination centers for the examination.

– To ensure that the examination is conducted in a peaceful manner, 75 state level observers have also been appointed for each district from the government level. District level control room has been established in every district for online monitoring. STF and Local Intelligence Unit (LIU) have been kept active for the entire examination period to monitor sensitive and highly sensitive examination centres, so that leaking of examination question papers can be prevented.

– Mobile phones will be banned at UP Board High School and Intermediate examination centres. Room invigilators will not be able to keep mobile phones.
