Independence Day Speech 2023: Give this short and simple speech on 15 August Independence Day
Friends, this day also reminds us of the sacrifice and sacrifice of those great freedom fighters who cut the shackles of Mother India by making huge sacrifices. Today I bow down to all those freedom fighters who dreamed of making India free and who laid down their lives so that we can breathe in a free India. During the freedom struggle, the British officers could not dampen the spirits of these freedom fighters. They put the British in trouble. The foundation of the British rule had started shaking due to the movements of the freedom fighters. Eventually, the British had to leave India.
Debates and cultural programs are organized on this occasion. The progress of the country, what was lost and gained after independence, the problems before the nation, the challenges of the future are discussed.
Friends, on this day, a pledge should be taken for nation building, development and defense of the country. We should implement Gandhiji’s principles of truth and non-violence in life. Follow the things written in the Indian Constitution, this is the honor of the country. In the 76 years after getting independence, we have achieved many great achievements. India becoming a nuclear power, the success of Chandrayaan-3 and the making of the Kovid-19 vaccine, becoming polio-free are big proofs of this. From science and technology to economy, sports, entertainment, art and culture, India’s sting is speaking all over the world. Despite all this, there is still much to be achieved. India is yet to earn the tag of a developed nation. There is a long way to go in terms of ensuring gender and social equality, justice.
With this I would like to conclude my speech. Best wishes to all of you on this auspicious occasion of Independence Day. Hail India
