Rajasthan School Winter Holidays 2024: Winter holidays increased in schools of these districts in Rajasthan

Rajasthan School Winter Holidays: Due to severe cold in Jaipur, Rajasthan, winter holidays in schools up to class 8 have been extended till January 13, 2024. Jaipur District Collector Prakash Rajpurohit has issued an order in this regard. In view of the possibility of cold wave increasing due to falling temperature in the coming days, the District Collector has issued orders for holidays. During this period, the timings of teachers and other conducted examinations will remain the same as before. 14th January is Sunday holiday. Makar Sankranti holiday has already been declared in Jaipur on 15th January. In such a situation, now all the schools of Jaipur (Rajasthan Jaipur School Closed) will open from 16 January 2024. Education Director Kanaram has issued an order authorizing the collectors of the respective districts to grant leave in view of the outbreak of winter. Winter vacation was declared in schools of the state from December 25 to January 5.

Bikaner

– In Bikaner also, relief has been given to children by extending school holidays. District Collector Bhagwati Prasad Kalal has issued an order increasing the school holidays of children. The District Collector has issued an order saying that winter holidays have been declared in government and non-government schools of Bikaner district from 25 December 2023 to 05 January 2024, but in view of the possibility of falling temperature, increasing severity of winter and cold wave in the coming days. Holiday is declared from 06th to 09th January in government and non-government schools of Huai district till class 8th.

Sikar District

Sikar District Collector Saurabh Swami had issued orders for holidays for government and all private schools from December 25 to January 5. But amidst the continuous cold wave and shivering winter, the district administration has extended the holidays of government and non-government schools for children up to class VIII till January 13. The minimum temperature in Sikar has reached 1 degree. Fatehpur recorded 2.8 degrees Celsius. The timing of teachers and other examinations will remain the same.

Churu

In Churu, holidays for children up to 8th class have been extended till January 10. Students from class 9th to 12th and teachers and other staff will have to come to school.

Alwar

The Collector has closed schools up to 8th in Alwar district till January 10. School timings for classes 9th to 12th will start from 10.30 am.

Jhalawar

In Jhalawar too, in view of the harshness of winter, relief has been given to children up to class 8th. The district administration has extended the winter holidays till January 8.

Sawai madhopur

Sawai Madhopur district administration has said that in view of the high possibility of cold wave, there will be holiday till January 11 in all government/non-government schools of the district for classes 1 to 7.

Jodhpur

In view of the cold wave, there will be holiday in schools in Jodhpur from January 6 to January 13. Collector Himanshu Gupta has issued an order regarding this on Friday. In Jodhpur and Jodhpur Rural district, there will be holiday in all government and non-government schools up to class VIII and in all Anganwadi centers from January 6 to January 13. The timings of teachers and other examinations conducted will remain the same.

Ajmer – In Ajmer, the Collector has extended the winter holidays of students up to class VIII till January 13.

Dungarpur

District Collector Lakshmi Narayan Minister said that the timings of all government and non-government schools of Dungarpur district have been changed from January 6 to January 10. During this period, the timings of one-shift schools will be from 10 am to 4 pm and for two-shift schools, the timings will be from 10 am to 12.45 pm (first shift) and 1.15 pm. It will be from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm (second inning). The timing of examinations conducted during the said period will remain the same.

Bhilwara

In view of the increasing cold in Bhilwara too, District Collector Ashish Modi has declared holiday till January 13 for the students of class 1 to 8 in all government and private schools of the district.

Hanumangarh

Here too, students up to 8th and Anganwadi students will have a holiday till January 13.

possibility of light rain

According to the Meteorological Department, a new western disturbance will be active from January 7 and there is a possibility of light rain at some places in Udaipur and Kota. Light to moderate rain is possible in Jaipur, Ajmer, Kota, Bikaner, Bharatpur divisions on 8-9 January.

Cold is haunting the state day and night. Cold wind along with fog has increased the chill. The minimum and maximum temperatures are also falling drastically. The lowest minimum temperature of 0 degrees Celsius was recorded in Mount Abu on Thursday. In such a situation, extension of school holidays may be announced in many other districts.
