Success Story Of IAS Topper Gaurav Budania: Today we will tell you about Gaurav Budania, who secured All India Rank 13 in UPSC Civil Services Examination 2020. Gaurav, who hails from Churu, Rajasthan, prepared for UPSC after studying BTech and MA in Sociology from IIT BHU. In the first attempt, he fulfilled the dream of becoming an IAS officer. Today we will tell you how he got success in UPSC.  

Preparation started with Post Graduation 
Gaurav Budania’s father is a teacher and his mother is a housewife. From the very beginning, Gaurav was very smart in studies and after BTech from IIT BHU, he earned an MA degree in Sociology. Along with studying MA, he started preparing for UPSC. As soon as his PG was completed, in the same way, he prepared for the civil service with complete dedication. Due to hard work and better strategy, he fulfilled his dream of civil service by securing All India Rank 13 in the first attempt.

Gaurav first visited the UPSC website and saw the civil services syllabus. This gave him the idea of ​​how he had to travel ahead. After this he chose Basic and Standard books. Then made a better schedule and started working hard. According to him, you will have to study every day according to the prescribed time and make notes together, so that in the end, revision can be done easily.

Gaurav’s advice to other candidates 
Gaurav believes that if you want to prepare for UPSC, then you have to move ahead with a better strategy. They say that unless you strive for it every day, you will not reach your destination. According to him hard work, right strategy, maximum revision, note making, answer writing practice and positive attitude are very important for success.
