Rishi Kapoor did not like a single song from son Ranbir’s superhit film Rockstar, reveals AR Rahman

Back Story Of ‘Rockstar’: Bollywood’s famous director Imtiaz Ali’s superb film Rockstar was well-liked for the story, acting and songs. But do you know that Rishi Kapoor, father of the film’s actor Ranbir Kapoor, did not like a single song in the film. This has been revealed recently on the occasion of completion of 10 years of the film.

During this a video call was made. Whose recorded clip is available on YouTube. In which actor Ranbir Kapoor, music composer AR Rahman, film director Imtiaz Ali and actress Sanjana Sanghi were present. AR Rahman made this big disclosure on this video call. 

AR Rahman while talking about the shooting of Situation Song of Rockstar in Kashmir said that he had asked everyone to review the song at that time. When asked by AR Rahman, Imtiaz had told that he liked the song, on which Rahman asked if he had narrated the song to any outsider, Imtiaz told that he had sung the song to Ranbir’s dad, but he liked a song . Imtiaz further said on this that he expected the same, because the songs were from very complex.”

On this AR Rahman had said that he would shoot the song again. Revealing in this video call, AR Rahman told that the song ‘Nadan Parinde’ was composed like this. AR Rahman says, “Getting that comment was very important to change my vision for the song.”

In 2011 Rockstar, apart from Ranbir Kapoor, Nargis Fakhri, Shami Kapoor, Piyush Mishra The roles of Aditi Rao Hydari, Sanjana Sanghi, Sharnaz Patel, Kumud Mishra and Jaideep Ahlawat were all appreciated. All the songs of the film proved to be superhit.
