The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) on Wednesday, November 24 said that the RAS main exam will be conducted on February 25 and 26. The commission has said that the detailed schedule of the examination will also be released soon. Only those candidates will be able to appear in the main examination who have qualified in the preliminary examination. It is to be noted that the commission has already released the syllabus of the examination.
The preliminary examination was conducted on October 27, 2021 and the results were declared on November 19, 2021. The cut off marks for male posts was 84.72 per cent, while the cut off marks for female posts was 79.63 per cent. On the basis of performance in main exam, RPSC candidates will be shortlisted for interview.
RPSC RAS ​​exam is being conducted to fill 988 posts out of which 363 vacancies will be filled for Rajasthan State Services and 625 posts for Subordinate Services.
