Placement fair in IIT from tomorrow, BTech candidates have their eyes on the package above crores, interview from 12 noon

Preparations for the annual placement fair starting from 1st December in IIT BHU are almost complete. Like every time, Dhanrajgiri-2 Hostel has been prepared as a placement hub. CCTV cameras are also being installed in various rooms of the hostel to monitor online interviews. A team of 150 students, employees and officers from the Training and Placement Cell are engaged in the arrangements. So far, more than 1600 students have registered on the placement portal created by the students of IIT BHU. 326 international companies have prepared to interview students on around 450 profiles. Some of these companies will select students for more than one post and profile.

Like every time, the multi-storey Dhanrajgiri-2 hostel of IIT BHU is being converted into a placement hub. Along with making arrangements for conducting interviews of companies in different rooms, a team of teachers and students has also been formed for monitoring. This arrangement has been made to maintain transparency and high quality during placement. Apart from this, CCTV cameras are also being installed in all the rooms and corridors.

Arrangements have also been made to mark the attendance of every student who appeared for interview on the placement portal of IIT. Along with this, the volunteers present at the entrance will also enter the students. Interviews will start after 12 midnight.

Not difficult, copying will be impossible

No student will be able to take books or papers to the interview venue i.e. Dhanrajgiri-2 Hostel. He will be able to take only his laptop and mobile. Pen and paper will be provided to them in the room itself. They will have to keep their mobile phones on the table which will be constantly monitored. Similarly, during the online interview, he will not be able to open any e-book or paper on the laptop. As soon as another window opens on the laptop, the software will automatically cancel their interview.
