The petition regarding postponement of NEET MDS examination was heard in the Supreme Court on Wednesday. The Supreme Court has put the ball in the Centre's court in this matter. The court has said that any decision regarding the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test of Masters in Dental Surgery examination should be taken by the Centre. The judges in the bench of Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud said to wait for some time, the government is looking into this matter. The court has expressed its difficulty in increasing the cutoff and said that it would be better if the Center itself takes a decision in this matter. Let us tell you that the date of March 18 was fixed for conducting this examination. Earlier applications were taken till 19 February.

On the petition related to postponement of NEET MDS 2024 exam, the bench of Chief Justice DY Chandrachud and Justice JB Pardiwala has said that the Central Government should intervene to resolve the matter.
