KVS Admission 2024: These documents will be required for admission in class 1, parents should keep in mind

KVS Admission 2024: Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) is all set to start the registration process for admission to Class 1 for the academic year 2024-25. The application forms for KVS Class 1 will be released on April 1, 2024 on the official websites kvsagathan.nic.in and kvsonlineadmission.kvs.gov.in. Parents who want to enroll their child in Class 1 this year, should know which documents will be required during admission and what should be the age of the child. Let us know about this in detail.

This should be the age limit of the child for admission in class 1

The minimum age of a child for admission in Class 1 will be 6 years. Admission forms for students younger than this will be rejected. The age limit of the child will be calculated from March 31, 2024. The age of a child taking admission in first class should be less than 8 years. Children born on April 1 will also be considered eligible for admission in class 1. A detailed information bulletin related to age limit is expected to be released soon. KVS Class 1 application forms will be available on the official website kvsonlineadmission.kvs.gov.in. Parents or guardians must submit the application form before the deadline.

Testing portal has been started

KVS has launched a testing portal for Class 1 admission across India. Parents who want to enroll their children for Class 1 can apply through the online portal kvsadmission.co.in. A total of 1,254 schools currently exist in India. KVS also informed that kvsonlineadmission.kvs.gov.in is a testing portal i.e. not a registration portal. If any parent applies for admission of their child from here, then that application will not be considered valid.

– Birth Certificate and Proof of Date of Birth

– Passport size photo of the child

– Residence Proof

– SC/ST/OBC Certificate

– EWS/BPL Certificate

– Parents whose only child is a girl, then they will have to show Single Girl Child (SGC) affidavit.

– Certificate to prove the relationship between a child's parents and grandparents

– Valid mobile number and email ID of parents
