UPSC interview date 2023: Union Public Service Commission, UPSC, may soon release the UPSC interview dates on the official website upsc.gov.in. Recently UPSC had released the results of main examination. Let us tell you, only those candidates who have achieved success in the main examination result can appear in the UPSC interview.

The roll numbers of the candidates shortlisted in the final list of UPSC Main Examination will be declared for Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS) and other Central Services (Group 'A' and Group 'B'). ) For the posts, one will have to appear in personality test i.e. interview.

Travel expenses will be reimbursed for UPSC interview

UPSC interview round is conducted in two shifts. Whereas the candidates who are coming to Delhi from another city for UPSC interview, their travel expenses will be reimbursed. Let us tell you, candidates will have to bring their admit card i.e. e-summon letter for UPSC interview, which has not been issued yet. It is expected that the e-summon letter will be released on the official website in January 2024. Once the interview dates are announced, this information will be updated on the official website.

Let us tell you, UPSC exam is one of the difficult exams. There are three stages of UPSC exam, preliminary, main and interview. As we know, interview is the final stage of UPSC Civil Services Examination (CSE). Candidates who have qualified the UPSC Main Examination will appear in the Personality Test i.e. Interview. While UPSC Main exam is of 1750 marks, UPSC Interview is of 275 marks. In such a situation, interview marks are given a lot of importance for selection to the post of IAS, IPS, IFS.
