JEE MAIN 2024: National Testing Agency (NTA) Joint Entrance Examination (JEE MAIN 2024) Session 1 examination is going to start from January 24. For which admit cards have been issued. B.Arch/B.Planning Paper 2 examination will be conducted in two shifts on January 24. Students who are going to appear in the examination can download the admit card from the official website jeemain.nta.ac.in.

Whereas admit cards for BE- BTech Paper 1 have not been issued yet. Paper 1 exam is scheduled to be held on 27, 29, 30, 31 January and 1 February. Usually the admit card is released three days before the examination, in such a situation it is expected that the admit card for BE- BTech Paper 1 can be released by 24th January. Because the admit cards for the B.Arch/B.Planning Paper 2 exam to be held on 24 January were issued on 21 January i.e. three days before the exam.

The examination will be conducted in two shifts. The first shift will be conducted from 9 am to 12 noon and the second shift will be conducted from 3 pm to 6 pm.

JEE Main 2024 will be conducted according to the marking scheme of last year. Each subject – Physics, Chemistry, Maths – will be divided into two sections. Section A will have 30 questions and Section B will have 10 questions. That means the total number of questions in the paper will be 90. However, a candidate has to solve only five questions from Section B (total 15), which means 75 questions have to be solved.

Let us tell you, in JEE Main exam, each question has four answer options, out of which one is correct. Four marks are awarded for a correct answer, but one mark is deducted for a wrong question. If any question is left without answer, no marks will be given on it.

JEE Main 2024- Know how much the syllabus has reduced

National Testing Agency (NTA) had announced reducing the syllabus some time ago, in which it was told that some topics of Maths, Physics and Chemistry have been removed. Let us tell you, the reduced syllabus is available on the official website – jeemain.nta.ac.in. To check, first the candidates have to visit the official website. Then you have to click on “Important download” link on the home page. You will have the complete syllabus of Maths, Physics and Chemistry for JEE 2024. As per the revised schedule, many topics have been removed from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and some topics have also been added in Physics. JEE Main examination is conducted twice a year. Now the examination for April session will be conducted from 1st April to 15th April 2024 at various examination centers across the country.
