ICAI CA exam dates will change due to Lok Sabha elections, new schedule will come on this day

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced the revised schedule for the Chartered Accountancy examinations. In an official notification, ICAI said it will announce the new dates for conducting the CA exam on March 19 evening on the official website www.icai.org, as the previous dates were clashing with the Lok Sabha elections.

The notice issued read, “The Election Commission has today announced the schedule of elections to the 18th Lok Sabha in the month of April-June 2024. It is observed that the aforesaid Lok Sabha elections, which will be held in 7 phases, from 19th April 2024 “Will commence and end on 1st June 2024. Counting of votes for all phases will be done on 4th June 2024”

Let us tell you, it was already told that the Chartered Accountancy examinations can be changed due to the Lok Sabha elections. Until the exam schedule changes, let us tell you that CA Final May Exam 2024 will be held on 2, 4, 6 May for Group 1, 8, 10, 12 May for Group 2 and CA Intermediate for Group 1 and 2. Exam May 2024 The exam was to be conducted from 3rd to 13th May. Students appearing for the Chartered Accountant examination in May 2024 are advised to keep visiting the official website www.icai.org for information related to the examination.

Let us tell you, some time ago the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) had announced changes in the pattern of CA Foundation and Inter examinations. In which it was told that the Foundation and Intermediate examinations will be conducted three times a year. Till now, CA Inter and Foundation exams were conducted twice a year by ICAI, but candidates will now get a chance to appear for CA Foundation and Inter exams thrice in a year. Now students will have to wait a little to know from which year this pattern will be implemented. ICAI Central Council Member (CCM) Dheeraj Khandelwal had said that ICAI will soon give an update in this regard.
