GATE 2024 Dress Code: Indian Institute of Science (IISC) Bengaluru is all set to start the GATE 2024 examination on February 3, 2024. As per the schedule, the exam will be conducted on February 3, February 4, February 10 and February 11. Students who are appearing for the exam can check the complete schedule of GATE 2024 exam on the official website gate2024.iisc.ac.in. First of all, let us tell you, GATE 2024 exam will be conducted in two shifts. Each shift will be of 3 hours. The first shift will be conducted from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and the second shift will be conducted from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. The admit cards of the examination have been released on the official website gate2024.iisc.ac.in. Students can download from here.
GATE 2024 will be conducted online. Students who are appearing in the examination can see the branch wise schedule here below. Candidates must note that multisession papers of Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Information Technology will be conducted.

Let us tell you, a total of 30 test papers will be asked in GATE 2024. Whereas GATE scorecard will remain valid for 3 years from the date of result and students can take admission in the college for three years.
Know about the dress code, what to wear and what not.
Students who are going to appear for the GATE 2024 examination are advised to wear loose and comfortable clothes on the day of the examination. Students should not come wearing clothes made of metal buttons or clothes made of other metals. If students cover their head with cap, scarf or any kind of cloth then they will not be allowed to appear in the examination. Along with this, let us tell you that no student will be allowed to wear jewelery inside the examination centre. Even students cannot wear watches and smartwatches along with mobile phones, Bluetooth devices and headphones. Along with this, students are advised to avoid wearing shoes and go for the examination wearing comfortable footwear like flip-flops or sandals.
