There is good news for the students of the year 2024 batch of IIT ISM. The campus placement figure of the institute has crossed 500. The highest pay package received so far is Rs 51.032 lakh annually. If we talk about the average pay package given to students, it is Rs 21.55 lakh annually. Placement results of many companies are yet to come. In such a situation, it is being said that soon this figure will reach close to 600.
Till now 240 students have got internship
According to the data till December 4, 240 students of the year 2025 batch have got internship from renowned companies in the country and abroad. These students will get monthly stipend up to Rs 75 thousand. Let us tell you that in 2023, 1108 students were offered on-campus and off-campus jobs in various companies, while 536 students got internships.
IIT Patna students get 147 job offers, offers worth more than Rs 30 lakh
The first phase of placement for the 2024 batch has started in IIT Patna. Of this, 147 students have received full-time offers including Pre-Placement Offers (PPO). In the first session of the current placement season 2023-24 of IIT Patna, students have received job offers of about Rs 22.23 lakh average package. Of these, 32 offers are of more than Rs 30 lakh CTC. More than 75% of students have been placed in B.Tech, Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) branches with an average CTC of ₹27.60 lakh.
Despite the global economic recession and challenging industrial environment, there was active participation of more than 65 companies in the ongoing first phase placements at IIT Patna. Jobs like Software Engineer, Digital Consultant, Business Consultant, IT Security Engineer, Product Engineer, Research Engineer, Electronics Engineer and Analyst are offered to the students. Major companies that have offered jobs include multinational companies like Atlassian, Google, Media.net and Sprinklr. ZS Associates (13 offers), Tiger Analytics (12 offers), and Brain Enterprises (10 offers) are the top employers in terms of number of offers. Apart from this, the placement drive also saw active participation from four reputed international firms – Accenture Japan, Suntory Holdings, Niterra and Money Forward.
