Vistara Airlines: Delay in flights – Passengers angry over cancellation, Vistara decided to reduce the number of flights.

Vistara Airlines: Passengers of Vistara Airlines of Tata Group and Singapore Airlines are facing cancellations and delays in flights. The company has also accepted this. An airline spokesperson said that in the last few days, due to various operational reasons, Vistara Airlines has experienced flight cancellations and flight delays. He said that the airlines are making continuous efforts to normalize the situation.  

Actually, Vistara is facing a lot of criticism on social media. Due to delay and cancellation of flights, passengers are expressing their anger through posts on social media. Many users have complained about flight delays of 5-5 hours in the past few days. Many passengers are also complaining about not being given full refund despite the flight being cancelled.  

Upon boarding Vistara flight UK545 from Mumbai to Bhubaneswar,I encountered a delay of two hours, followed by the unsettling observation of the aircraft being infested with mosquitoes.This experience raises concerns regarding the level of service provided by Vistara@airvistara.

@airvistara we just got to know UK840 is delayed by about 6 hours, no customer care number is reachable. How can we know the status?

Vistara spokesperson said in a statement that in the last few days, a large number of flights have faced cancellations and delays due to unavailability of crew. He said that we accept this and are sorry for the inconvenience caused to the customers. The spokesperson said, our team is working to minimize the inconvenience to the customers. For this, we have decided to reduce the number of flights so that we can ensure adequate connectivity in our network. 

Vistara spokesperson said that big aircraft like B787-9 Dreamliner and A321neo have also been deployed in domestic routes so that more number of passengers can fly. Airlines said that customers are being offered refunds as per the rules along with alternative flight options. Vistara spokesperson said that every effort is being made to normalize the situation and regular flights will soon operate under regular capacity.
