NPCI's wing NPCI International Payments (NIPL) has partnered with French e-commerce and payments provider Lyra to launch UPI. Under this, UPI payment will be made throughout France. It has been started from the Eiffel Tower. Prime Minister on the launch of UPI in France Narendra Modi expressed happiness and said that this will prove to be an important step towards making UPI global.
Indian tourists will get convenience

Now these people will be able to avail the benefits of UPI payment service at this famous tourist destination. With this, France has become the first country to start the UPI payment system.
