UPI At Eiffel Tower:India has achieved great success in making its payment system UPI global. UPI was launched globally from the Eiffel Tower located in Paris, the capital of France. This launch from this important tourist center Eiffel Tower will give great recognition to UPI. With this, France has become the first country to launch UPI.

UPI payment will start across France 

NPCI's wing NPCI International Payments (NIPL) has partnered with French e-commerce and payments provider Lyra to launch UPI. Under this, UPI payment will be made throughout France. It has been started from the Eiffel Tower. Prime Minister on the launch of UPI in France Narendra Modi expressed happiness and said that this will prove to be an important step towards making UPI global. 

Indian tourists will get convenience

Indians come second in number among international tourists visiting the Eiffel Tower in Paris. Now these people will be able to avail the benefits of UPI payment service at this famous tourist destination. With this, France has become the first country to start the UPI payment system. With its help, there is every hope of increasing tourism in France. It is hoped that after France, other European countries can also accept UPI. This will also help in increasing digital transactions in the country. Indian tourists will now be able to make easy payments at the Eiffel Tower with the help of QR code.  

UPI has spread all over the country 

Unified Payments Interface (UPI) is an Indian payment system. It was launched by National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) in 2016. With its help, payment can be made easily and instantly from your bank account anywhere by just scanning the QR code. In India, the facility of UPI payment has spread to every small and big merchant and from cities to villages.
