TCS Results: The country's largest IT company Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) was listed 20 years ago in 2004. Since then, the excellent performance of this Tata Group company continues. After listing, for the first time in 19 years, the number of employees of TCS has decreased in the financial year 2023-24. On an annual basis, there has been a reduction of 13,249 employees of the company in the last financial year. Even during the January-March quarter, the number of employees of the company has decreased by 1759. Due to this reduction, the number of TCS employees is currently reduced to 6,01,546 till March 31, 2023.
TCS's attrition rate dropped to 12.5 percent
According to the quarterly results of TCS, the number of employees of the company had increased by 22600 in the financial year 2022-23. In the previous financial year, the company had added approximately 1.03 lakh employees. According to the company's Chief HR Officer Milind Lakkad, the company's attrition rate has come down to 12.5 percent. Apart from this, our campus hiring is also getting good response. Employees are also now giving preference to working from office. The number of customers has also increased.
Company taking National Qualifier Test
Besides, TCS has also made changes in the hiring process. The company has now started taking 'National Qualifier Test' (NQT). NQT is a test through which TCS checks the aptitude of the students. This test is prepared by TCS iON. This year the last date of application was April 10, 2024. This year NQT will be held on 26th April.
Offering packages up to Rs 11.5 lakh
Tata Consultancy Services is currently hiring freshers in three types of categories. There's a ninja in it. In this, freshers are offered a package of up to Rs 3.36 lakh. After this, packages up to Rs 7 lakh are available in the digital category. Prime category comes above everything. In this, the maximum package of Rs 9 to 11.5 lakh is being given to freshers.
