After this, after the age of 18 years of the girl child, you can withdraw 50 percent of the total amount deposited in the account. On the other hand, after the age of 21 years of the girl child, you can withdraw the entire amount deposited from the account.

You can open SSY account in any post office or bank. To open this account, you must have the birth certificate or Aadhaar card of the girl child. Along with this, it is necessary to have address proof of the mother or father of the girl child like Aadhaar card, PAN card. You go to the bank or post office and fill a form. After this the SSY account of the girl child will be opened. Keep in mind that only two girl children of one parent can open SSY account. If two twin girls are born in the second time, then in such a situation Sukanya Samriddhi account can also be opened for three girls.
