Reliance Q2 Results: The country’s largest private company Reliance Industries has declared the results for the second quarter of the financial year 2023-24. During the July to September quarter, the company has made a profit of Rs 17,394 crore, which is 27 percent more than the same quarter of the last financial year. In the same quarter last year, the company had made a profit of Rs 13,656 crore. In the second quarter, the company’s revenue from operations has increased to Rs 2.34 lakh crore, which was Rs 2.35 lakh crore in the same quarter last year.
On the second quarter results, Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani said, due to the strong operational and financial contribution of all business segments, Reliance has been successful in showing excellent growth in one quarter after the other.
If we look at the financial results of Reliance Retail, the retail business of Reliance Industries, the gross revenue has increased by 18.8 percent to Rs 77,148 crore. The food and grocery segment has registered a growth of 33 percent. Reliance Retail made a profit of Rs 2790 crore in this quarter, which is 21 percent more than the same quarter of last year. Reliance Retail has opened 471 new stores, after which the total number of stores of the company has reached 18,650. Reliance Retail’s stores saw 260 million footfall in the second quarter, which is 40.5 percent more.
If we look at the quarterly results of Reliance Jio Platforms, the company’s revenue in the second quarter has increased by 10.6 percent to Rs 31,537 crore. Whereas the profit was Rs 5297 crore with a jump of 12 percent. Jio has added 11.1 million new subscribers in this quarter. The average revenue per user i.e. ARPU has increased by 2.5 percent to Rs 181.7. Reliance Jio Chairman Akash Ambani said that Jio True5G will soon be available across the country.
