PM Modi said, India will be included in three big economies, Chidambaram’s answer, talk about per capita income, now it is at 128th place

Per Capita Income: Prime Minister Narendra Modi said with great confidence on Wednesday, 26 July 2023, that he will have a government at the Center for the third consecutive time and in his third term, India will be included in the world’s three big economies. The Prime Minister said that this is Modi’s guarantee. But on this statement of PM Modi, former Finance Minister P Chidambaram has tweeted sarcasm. He said that India is the fifth economy of the world, we are proud of it. But he said that India ranks 128th in the world in terms of per capita income. And we should talk about it because it is the true measure of prosperity.

India lags behind in terms of per capita income

India’s Rank today in terms of GDP is 5. That makes us proud

India’s Rank in terms of per capita income is 128. That must make us humble and determined to grow at a faster rate

One day, India will become the 3rd largest economy in the world. But our goal must be to increase…

Many countries of the world are ahead of India

According to IMF data, India’s per capita income is $2600 annually. While United Kingdom’s is $46,370 and America’s is $80003. China’s per capita income is $13720, Germany’s is $51380. According to NSSO data also, India’s per capita income in 2022-23 is Rs 1,72,000. Which used to be Rs 86,647 in 2014-15. It is clear from these figures that India may join the world’s top economy in terms of economic development, but it is far behind in per capita income.
