PM Kisan Yojana 16th Installment: If you are a beneficiary of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM Kisan Nidhi Yojana), then there is great news for you. The government is soon going to release the 16th installment of the scheme (PM Kisan Scheme 16th Installment). PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is a scheme run by the Central Government, through which the government transfers a total of Rs 6,000 to the accounts of farmers every year in three installments. Till now, a total of 15 installments have been released through this scheme.
When will the 16th installment be released?
Prime Minister Modi will transfer the money for the 16th installment (PM Kisan Samman Nidhi 16th Installment) on 28 February 2024 through Direct Benefit Transfer. The amount of the scheme is transferred to the farmers' accounts every four months. Earlier, the money for the 15th installment of the scheme was transferred by PM Modi from Khunti in Jharkhand on 15 November 2023. 5 years of this scheme have been completed.
The government first started this scheme on 24 February 2019 i.e. 5 years ago to meet the financial needs of farmers. The government has transferred more than Rs 2.80 lakh crore to the accounts of more than 11 crore farmer families since 2019.

These farmers will not get the benefit of the scheme
The benefit of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana will not be available to those farmers who have not completed the e-KYC process. In such a situation, to avail the benefits of this scheme, it is necessary for the farmers to do e-KYC (PM Kisan Scheme e-KYC) and verify the land. If you fail to do so, you will be deprived of the benefits of the scheme.
It is very important for farmers to get eKYC done to get the advance installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana.
