IPL 2024: Competition among advertising companies, JioCinema gets 18 sponsors for IPL

The new season of IPL, one of the world's biggest sports events, is starting from today. In this season of IPL, while on one hand there is going to be a clash between different teams on the field, on the other hand there is going to be an advertising competition between different companies from the field to the TV screen. This has greatly benefited IPL's streaming partner Jio Cinema.

Tata is the title partner of IPL

Jio Cinema has said that it has got strong sponsors for this season of IPL. . Hundreds of companies have come forward to advertise. According to a statement by Jio Cinema, it has got 18 sponsors and more than 250 advertisers for the new IPL season (Tata IPL 2024). Tata is the title partner of this season of IPL, while Jio Cinema is the official digital streaming partner of Tata IPL 2024.

Record earnings expected

Jio Cinema was shown live in the last season of IPL. Record earnings were made from streaming. Last year also it had received a great response from sponsors and advertisers. Seeing the crowd this time, it is being estimated that Jio Cinema's earnings from live streaming will surpass last year's record.

These companies became sponsors

According to the statement, the list of sponsors and advertisers includes companies working in various sectors including automobile, mobile handset, banking, online broking and trading, credit card payment. Dream 11 has become the co-presenting partner in digital streaming of Jio Cinema for this season. Tata Motors, HDFC Bank's PayZap, SBI, Cred, AMFI, Upstox, Charged by Thums Up, Britannia, Pepsi, Parle, Google Pixel, Haier, Jindal Steel, Vodafone, Dalmia Cements, Kamala Pasand and Rapido on board as associate sponsors.

This is why there is competition among companies

Jio Cinema hopes that the list of companies and sponsors advertising in this season of IPL may get longer. In fact, due to the availability of smartphones and internet, their reach has become wider. In such a situation, the number of people watching IPL through digital medium has increased manifold as compared to traditional TV. Keeping in mind the record number of viewers, companies are competing to advertise in digital broadcast.

Starting from today

Tata IPL 2024 starts today from 22nd March. It is happening. The new season of IPL is starting with the match between last season's winning team Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore.
