Google Case: Google has finally surrendered before the employees after a long legal process. The world's largest tech company will give approximately $27 million to its employees under the agreement. This is the biggest agreement of its kind. This money will be distributed among all the employees of Google. The employees had accused the company of unfair labor practices.
The money will be distributed among one lakh employees
This agreement was reached in a California court. This case was filed in 2016. This dispute started after an employee was fired from the job. Here the employees faced a giant company like Google with patience and courage and forced it to bow down. Most of the amount received in the agreement will go to the government. It will be distributed among about one lakh employees of Google. Every employee will get 20 to 70 dollars.
Complaint was made against the management in a Facebook post
An employee working in Google-owned company Nest had complained against the management in a Facebook post. After this he was fired from the job. After this, there were demonstrations by employees in big companies like Google, Facebook and Netflix. Employees boycotted work at many places and also wrote letters. Due to this, people were fired from many companies and changes in policies had to be made at many places. Companies were facing difficulties in dealing with the increasingly vocal employees.

A Google spokesperson said that we have full faith in our guidelines. We have not done anything wrong. But, after almost eight years of litigation, we have decided that this case should be closed. This is in everyone's interest.
