Good news: Retail policy is coming, government’s big preparation to make business easier for traders

Retail Traders Policy: Good news is coming for traders from the Central Government. The government has plans to bring a retail trade policy soon, through which it will be easier to do business mainly for retail traders with physical stores. A senior officer has given this information on behalf of the central government. Joint Secretary of the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) Sanjeev has said that through this retail trade policy, traders will get better infrastructure and it will be easier for traders to get more credit or loan.

E-commerce policy will also come for online retailers

Where on one hand there is a plan to bring the government’s retail trade policy for the businessmen with physical stores, on the other hand, the central government is also working on bringing e-commerce policy for online retailers.  In a press-conference on FMCG and e-commerce, DPIIT Secretary Sanjeev said that the government is trying to bring such a policy for e-commerce as well as retail traders, so that there will be synergy between the two segments and Maintain balance.

Work continues on bringing insurance scheme for retailers

Apart from this, the department is also preparing to bring such an insurance scheme for all retail traders, which can be useful to make their lives safe. Along with this, there is a plan to introduce an accident insurance scheme, which can be especially beneficial for the small businessmen of the country. According to a news published in Economic Times, this information has been received.

Joint Secretary, DPIIT emphasized that the industry should focus on manufacturing high quality products in the country.
