Especially there was maximum buying in midcap stocks, due to which the Nifty midcap index saw a rise of more than 1100 points. At the end of today's trading, BSE Sensex closed at 72,641 with a jump of 539 points and Nifty of National Stock Exchange closed at 22012 with a jump of 172 points. Nifty has again been successful in crossing the figure of 22000. 

Investors' wealth increased by 6 lakh crores!

Due to the spectacular rise in the Indian stock market, there has been a huge increase in the wealth of investors. The market cap of stocks listed on BSE has increased to close at Rs 380 lakh crore which was Rs 374.12 lakh crore in the last session. That means, in today's session, there has been a jump of Rs 5.88 lakh crore in the wealth of investors.

Sector condition 

In today's trading, due to buying in midcap stocks, Nifty Midcap 100 index closed with a jump of 1113 points and crossed 47000 while the Small Cap index closed with a rise of 366 points. Among the sectors, stocks of Banking, Auto, IT, Pharma, FMCG, Metals, Energy, Oil & Gas, Consumer Durables and Healthcare sectors closed with gains and no sector was seen in the red. Of the 30 Sensex stocks, 26 closed with gains and 4 closed with losses. While out of 50 Nifty stocks, 43 closed with a rise while 7 closed with a fall.  

Rising and falling shares 

BPCL 3.73 percent, NTPC 3.62 percent, Power Grid 3.44 percent, Tata Steel 3.06 percent in today's trading. Has closed with a speed of. While Bharti Airtel is down by 0.89 percent, ONGC is down by 0.34 percent.
