Elon Musk in India: Elon Musk will not come to India right now, said – because of this he is forced!

Elon Musk in India: Elon Musk, the owner of Tesla, the world's largest electric car manufacturing company and one of the richest people in the world, has postponed his visit to India. Elon Musk was to visit India for the first time on 21st and 22nd April, which he has postponed for now. Musk himself has confirmed this through his ex-post. Musk has also given the reason behind canceling his India tour.

Elon Musk gave information through X post

Sharing information about this on his official X handle, Elon Musk posted that due to some big responsibilities of Tesla, he has currently postponed his India visit. He also said that he is very excited to visit India by the end of this year.

Actually, Elon Musk is required to be present in America on April 23 to answer the questions of Tesla investors. Tesla has recently released quarterly results. The company has faced a decline in sales in recent months. In such a situation, the investors and shareholders of the company are getting worried. If Musk had been in India on April 21-22, it would have been difficult for him to be present at the investors call on April 23.

It is noteworthy that during his visit to India, Elon Musk was going to announce many plans for Tesla like manufacturing unit in India and satellite communication. Media reports had claimed that he can announce an investment of Rs 25,000 crore in India.

Had talked about coming to India on 10th April

Earlier, on April 10, Elon Musk had informed in his tweet that he is very excited to meet Prime Minister Modi. Just a few days before the announcement of Musk's visit to India, the Indian government had come up with a new EV policy. With this policy, it has become easier for foreign companies to set up EV plants in the country. In its new EV policy, the government has talked about giving exemption in import duty to those foreign companies which will invest more than 500 million dollars in the country.

Apart from Tesla, Elon Musk has also been trying for a long time for the entry of Starlink in India. According to Bloomberg report, the central government has assured Starlink that it will be able to start its operations in the country by the third quarter. Apart from this, in February the government had approved FDI to promote the space sector. Since then, speculations regarding SpaceX's entry in India had intensified.
