DA Hike: After UP, Karnataka and Rajasthan, now DA increased in this state too, know how much benefit will be there

Holi Gift by Government: As the Lok Sabha elections and the festival of Holi are approaching, it is being announced to increase the Dearness Allowance in many states one after the other. After Uttar Pradesh and Karnataka, now Madhya Pradesh government has also announced to increase DA by 4 percent while giving Holi gift to government employees and pensioners. After this increase, now DA for employees in the state has become 46 percent of the basic salary.

It has been decided to increase the rate of dearness allowance payable to government servants by 4%.

After this increase, the rate of dearness allowance will be 46% from July 1, 2023. Its benefits will be available from March 1, 2024 (payment April, 2024).

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav congratulated 

Madhya Pradesh Government issued a notification in this regard on Friday saying that the increased DA will be considered effective from March 1, 2024. The government will pay it in April 2024. State Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, while posting on the social media platform X, wrote that the DA of government employees and pensioners has been increased. This has been extended from July 1, 2023. We congratulate all the employees. About 7.5 lakh government employees will benefit from this decision of the government.

Lok Sabha election dates are going to be announced tomorrow

Election Commission's press conference to announce the dates of Lok Sabha elections is going to be held on Saturday. Due to this, the election code of conduct will be implemented in the country. In the country Lok Sabha elections may start from April and continue till May. Just a day before that, the Madhya Pradesh government has taken this important decision. 

DA was increased in Rajasthan also 

Earlier, it was announced to increase DA in BJP ruled Rajasthan also. State Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma had said on Thursday that the DA of the state employees has been increased by 4 percent. After this, DA of state employees will now be 50 percent. This decision will benefit 8 lakh state employees and 4.40 lakh pensioners.
