CNG Rate Cut: There is good news for the people of Delhi NCR. They are going to get relief from expensive CNG. It has been decided to reduce the price of CNG in Delhi by Rs 2.50 per kg from March 7, 2024. CNG prices have also been reduced by Rs 2.50 per kg in Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad.
CNG became cheaper by Rs 2.50 per kg
City gas company Indraprastha Gas Limited in Delhi NCR has revised the prices of CNG. It has been decided to reduce the price. Earlier CNG was available in Delhi at Rs 76.59 per kg, now it will be available at Rs 74.09 per kg. Earlier CNG was available at Rs 81.20 per kg in Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad, now it will be available at Rs 78.70 per kg. Price reduced in Gurugram also. h3>
A decision has been taken to reduce the price of CNG in Gurugram also. In Gurugram, the price of CNG has decreased from Rs 82.62 per kg to Rs 80.12 per kg. In Rewari, CNG will be available at Rs 78.70 per kg instead of Rs 81.20 per kg. In Karnal and Kaithal, the price has come down from Rs 82.93 to Rs 80.43 per kg. The price cut will be considered effective from 6 am on March 7, 2024.
Big relief to customers
Earlier on Tuesday, Mahanagar Gas Limited (MGL) had given relief and announced a big cut in the prices of CNG. MGL supplies CNG in Mumbai and its surrounding areas. After the reduction in the prices of natural gas, the costs of city gas companies were reduced. After which these companies have decided to pass on its benefits to the customers. Earlier, Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Hardeep Puri had expressed his unhappiness over the city gas companies not passing on its benefits to the customers even after the price of natural gas was cut.
