'He keeps even the central leadership in the dark'

Pratima Das said that even when Congress had four MLAs, Congress people used to become MLCs, today there are 17 MLAs. He accused his president of keeping even the central leadership in the dark. The State President of Bihar stays in Delhi most of the time. In such a situation, how can a common worker meet them? He doesn't even pick up the call of the MLA. He has demanded to make some other person the state president.

Five candidates have been fielded by the grand alliance

Let us tell you that in the elections for the 11 vacant seats of Bihar Legislative Council, five candidates have been fielded from the Grand Alliance. Among them, there are four candidates from RJD and one from CPI-ML, while Congress, which is part of the grand alliance, has not got a place. Former Chief Minister Rabri Devi, former minister Abdul Bari Siddiqui, Urmila Thakur and Syed Faisal Ali have been made candidates from RJD in the list. The Grand Alliance has made its fifth candidate, Shashi Yadav of CPI(ML).

At the same time, elections are to be held on 11 vacant seats of Legislative Council in Bihar, the process of which has started. Voting for these seats will take place on March 21. The tenure of the elected members on the seats is ending in May.
