To avoid opening UPI apps again and again, you will have to keep the QR scanner shortcuts of these apps on your homescreen. For this you have to long press any UPI app. After this, you will start seeing many options, one of which will be 'Scan Any QR Code'. Tap on this option and drag it and place it on the homescreen. This will mean that you will be able to make payment by scanning any QR code directly from here. That means you have to click on this shortcut and your scanner will open immediately. You will no longer have the problem of opening the app again and again to go to the QR code scan option.

However, if you have set a password in the UPI apps, then you will have to enter the password before opening the shortcut, and will also have to give camera permission, if it is closed. Similarly, you can also add other shortcuts to the homescreen associated with the app. Like mobile recharge, send money, balance and history etc.
