Highlights:
- In Jamnagar, there was a rift in the Aam Aadmi Party, with more than 70 resigning
- He resigned saying that he was not listened to at the party
- Thus the Aam Aadmi Party suffered a major blow before the preparations for the Assembly elections
Aam Aadmi Party president Bhavesh Sabhadi of Jamnagar district, led by office bearers and activists, has rallied and resigned from the party.
According to the party’s ideology, the resignation is being discussed as it is being ignored despite representations or protests by local leaders. A large number of people have resigned at the same time as certain people in the organization are working to satisfy their ego and the talk of workers is being blown up.
Along with Bhavesh Sabhadia, Sunil Chikhalia of AAP Kisan Sangathan of Jamnagar district and about 70 office bearers of 6 talukas of the district have expressed their dissatisfaction by resigning en masse. Other members have warned the party to resign if the situation does not improve in the coming days.
Importantly, Kejriwal also reached Surat after getting a chance to sit in the Opposition in the Rajkot Corporation elections and boosted the morale of the workers. After this, the Aam Aadmi Party could not bring the expected result in the corporation elections held in Gandhinagar. Elections were held on 44 seats of Gandhinagar Municipal Corporation. Out of which BJP won 41 seats, while Congress got 2 and Aam Aadmi Party got 1 seat.
Necessary steps can be taken after the state organization and Delhi have heard the big gap in the efforts to make a strong foothold in Saurashtra of Gujarat. On the one hand, the matter may come to notice in the coming days as preparations are being made by AAP for the Assembly elections. It will be known in the coming days whether the resigning activists will be heard by the state organization.
