Maharashtra cabinet minister Nawab Malik’s statement in Mumbai drugs case now seems to be overshadowing him. Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) leader Mohit Kamboj has slapped a Rs 100 crore defamation case against Malik.

For the past several days, Nawab Malik was continuously accusing BJP leader Mohit Kamboj and his family. Mohit had also sent a notice to Malik on 9 October. Mohit Kamboj had said in the notice that it is wrong to make defamatory statements without proof.

Despite this, Nawab Malik continued to attack the BJP leader. Now Mohit Kamboj has prepared for legal action. He filed a complaint against Nawab Malik and filed a defamation suit of Rs 100 crore in the High Court.

Nawab Malik had accused Mohit Kamboj

Nawab Malik had a few days ago accused Mohit Kamboj that his brother-in-law was also taken into custody by the Narcotics Control Bureau in the Cruise Rave Party case. But under pressure from BJP leaders, Sameer Wankhede left him. After this allegation of Malik, Mohit Kamboj had called all these allegations baseless. Along with this, there was talk of taking legal action.
